Dual Extrusion with Replicator G

 

Firstly, you need to find a dual extrusion model to print. Enter into Replicator G's "Thingiverse" menu and select "Dual Extrusion models!". It will bring you to everything tagged "Dualstrusion"on Thingiverse.

 

 

Any dual extrusion model you find is going to be composed by two .stl files, one for each color or material. Make sure you download both. Then go to ReplicatorG's "G-code" menu and select "Merge .stl for DualExtrusion."

 

 

then you'll see the following :

 

 

Click Browse for left Extruder, find folder Flashforge finished version replicatorg-0040, click it, find examples and select double-head choice

 

Two_color_World _a.stl, as shown, and for the right one choose file "b"

 

 

Then saved it on the desktop with suffix name. G-code.

 

 

When you finish all above, then click G-code Generation button at right, two G-code Generation dialog boxes pop up. As shown below:After G-code dialog boxes pop up, remove √ before use base / support in the front, and then generate G-code one by one.

 

 

tips: under this situation, the "use raft" will be not availble, so just choose "none". when you finish this,you can generate the Gcode now.if it finished, you can click the Gcode option at the top of the software to modify the temperature for bottom plate.

 

 

Then modify M109 S110 in red box to (set HBP temperature) M109 S115 (set HBP temperature)As shown below; After modification, save the file, click Build button for two-color printing.Shown as below:
